1. When this applies
A request submitted more than six months after first delivery is treated as a new work request, even for the same property. LBS will verify whether the files are available and whether the scope remains comparable.
2. What may require updating
New price lists, quantities, photos, measurements, insurer criteria, local codes, or material information may be needed. The prior document is not presumed to reflect current conditions.
3. Quoting
The initial review may determine that a simple change is enough or that the file must be rebuilt. LBS will provide a quote before performing the work. The $50 fee is the base minimum for additional minor revisions under the estimates policy and does not set the price of every complex reactivation.
4. Retention
The ordinary operational retention period is three years from formal closure, subject to legal or contractual exceptions. LBS does not promise permanent file access after the applicable period.
5. Historical contracts
Prior promises and specially agreed terms must be reviewed before new fees are imposed.
